Okavango Trail - 6 Nights

On arrival at Maun Airport (Botswana), you are met and transferred to the boat station, a 20 minute drive.

The transfer to the camp takes 3 hours with a few stops for stretching our legs and a bit of game viewing.

This is a budget itinerary, guests bring their own small pop out tents, food, drinks and are treated to an exclusive guiding service.

Spend two nights at each location moving from one place to another by boat. The main activity is walking safaris.

Casual, comfortable clothing is suitable throughout the year. Layers of clothing are most practical for the fluctuating day/night temperatures of Botswana.

The most practical items to pack are:
  • Long sleeves, long trousers and closed shoes, very important for nature walks
  • Light clothing is preferable during the day especially during the summer months; e.g. t-shirts, shorts
  • Light, compact raincoat is a good idea for the summer
  • Fleece or sweater and a warm jacket due to colder nights during the winter season
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Natural, earthy or khaki toned clothes are preferable (brightly-coloured clothes should be avoided to prevent any undue attention from wild animals)

  • Also bring:

  • Sun block, lip balm, sunglasses, hat, swimsuit
  • Insect repellent
  • Still Camera, Video Camera & Binoculars
  • South African plug adaptor
  • Cancellation Policy
